The land that now hosts the Hill View Business Park was acquired in 1994, with a vision of turning it into a vibrant location for many local businesses and not for profit organisations within spitting distance of Ipswich and key transport links in the area. The first tenants moved into the site in 1998 and are still located at Hill View to this day.

Purchase of land
Land is purchased at the Claydon site.
1997
Site works begin
Preparation for the business park is underway and ground works begin.
1997
Hill View Business Park is born
The first building is erected on site.
1998
First tenant moves in
The business park welcomes it’s very first tenant.
1999
Old Barn is demolished
The prominent structure of the Old Barn is taken down, opening up space for more buildings on site.
2017
Fire breaks out
There is an electrical fire overnight destroying one of the newly renovated buildings on site.
2023
Onsite storage erected
12 storage units are set up, offering a solution for the local community as well as the businesses on site.
